Why, when there are hundreds of toys scattered throughout the house, do all three of the three-year-olds (as of tomorrow) HAVE to play with the one toy!  And you have NO IDEA who had it first!

    Solution: Take all the toys away! Maybe not ....

    I suspect they all want to play with the same toy because desire is contagious. I suspect that it doesn't really matter who had it first.
